History
st_magnus_cathedral Orkney's heritage is renowned, follow the Orkneyinga Saga, learn about the Earl's of Orkney and discover some of the amazing monuments and legends that they left behind. Also visit St Magnus Cathedral which was founded in 1137 by Earl Rognvold and discover some of its hidden treasures.

World War I ship wreck Orkney's more recent history is also apparent, visit the Scapa Flow visitors centre at Lyness and discover the islands war time past.
